Bayliss vs Edwards as the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza sets a perfect scene

Troy Bayliss headed up the grid for only the second time in his career at Monza, riding a Ducati at home on Italian soil as the WorldSBK paddock headed to the legendary Italian track, with ex-teammate Neil Hodgson just behind in P2 and Championship rivals Corser and Edwards on the second row. With points leader Corser unable to finish and Edwards moving forward into a three-way battle for the lead with Bayliss and Hodgson, the action began early in the race…and it didn’t end there!

Joined by Bayliss’ teammate Ruben Xaus, the four-way battle raged at the front in the breakaway group until it became a classic Bayliss vs Edwards duel, right to the line. Check out the race in the Classics section with the WorldSBK VideoPass and enjoy!
